I'm Cheryl Warry, a full-time marriage celebrant and wedding MC based just down the road in Wangaratta, and the King Valley is very much part of my backyard.
I've married couples across the region, from winery weddings in Milawa and Whitfield to relaxed celebrations tucked away in the hills around Cheshunt.

I've worked at beautiful venues throughout the King Valley and surrounding areas and know just how different a winery ceremony can feel from a farm wedding, an intimate elopement or a celebration high in the hills.
Brown Brothers, Milawa
Brown Brothers is one of the King Valley's best-known wedding destinations and a beautiful choice if you're dreaming of a winery wedding.
I've had the pleasure of marrying couples here and know how well the property lends itself to a relaxed ceremony followed by one very good celebration.
Dal Zotto, Whitfield
Drive further into the King Valley and you'll find yourself surrounded by vineyards, mountains and some spectacular views.
I've married couples amongst the vines at Dal Zotto, including one gorgeous ceremony where the location had a particularly special connection to the bride and her family's own vineyard history.
Samba Hills, Cheshunt
Samba Hills is another beautiful spot tucked into the King Valley landscape.
One of my favourite weddings here included a groom arriving in the 1959 FC Holden he'd lovingly built himself, a couple who had first met at high school and found their way back to each other decades later, and a bride walking in with her adult son.
That's the sort of wedding story I love.

Do you travel throughout the King Valley?
Yes. I'm based in Wangaratta and regularly travel throughout Milawa, Whitfield, Cheshunt and the surrounding King Valley for weddings.
Can we legally get married at a winery?
Yes. An authorised marriage celebrant can legally marry you at a winery, farm, private property or another location you choose, provided the legal requirements for marriage in Australia are met.
We live in Melbourne. Can you still be our celebrant?
Absolutely. You don't need to live locally. Much of our planning can be completed remotely, which makes things much easier if you're organising a destination wedding in the King Valley.
Can you be our celebrant and MC?
Yes. I offer both marriage celebrant and wedding MC services, so you can have the same person looking after your ceremony and helping guide your reception.
Can our children or pets be involved in our ceremony?
Of course. I've seen children take on all sorts of roles and I'm always happy when a four-legged member of the family gets an invitation too. We'll find a way to include them that suits your ceremony.
How far in advance should we book our King Valley celebrant?
Popular wedding dates can book well ahead, particularly during the busiest wedding seasons. Once you have your date and venue confirmed, it's worth checking celebrant availability fairly early.
