There's something incredibly special about a wedding held on family farm. The views are familiar. Every tree holds a memory. Every guest immediately feels at home. For Zoe and Leigh, there was never really another option. Leigh's parents' beautiful country property was where they wanted to begin married life together, surrounded by the people who knew them best something even more special is being married by a relative and in this case the groom's Auntie. Yes that was me - Cheryl Warry!

A Ceremony That Felt Like Them

After getting to know Zoe and Leigh throughout the planning process, it became obvious that they weren't interested in tradition for tradition's sake.

They wanted their guests to feel comfortable from the moment they arrived. They wanted plenty of laughs. They wanted a ceremony that reflected their personalities instead of following a script.

Standing together beneath the wide country sky, surrounded by family and lifelong friends, they promised each other forever in a ceremony that felt effortless and heartfelt.

As a marriage celebrant, these are the ceremonies I love creating. Every couple has a story worth telling, and when guests are smiling, laughing and wiping away a few tears, you know you've found exactly the right balance.

A Country Wedding With Festival Spirit

The celebration that followed felt more like an incredible weekend gathering than a formal wedding reception.

The couple and their families poured countless hours into creating the day themselves. They built tables and bench seating, transformed a vintage caravan into their own bar, styled the property with foraged flowers and welcomed guests with food trucks that perfectly suited the relaxed atmosphere.

It was proof that beautiful weddings don't have to follow a formula.

Some of the best celebrations happen when couples simply create a day that feels like home.

Moments Everyone Still Talks About

Every wedding has those little moments that become family legends.

For Zoe and Leigh it was plenty of laughter, unforgettable dance moves and a wedding dress that somehow survived an encounter with pizza during the celebrations. Those are the moments that guests remember long after the flowers have faded.
