Real Weddings At Brown Bros Winery

Real weddings at Brown Bros winery with Cheryl warry Celebrant

Brown Brothers Winery in Milawa is one of the most requested venues in North East Victoria, and it's easy to see why - rolling vineyard views, that iconic oak tree, and a setting that feels elegant without ever feeling stiff. I've had the honour of officiating several ceremonies here, and no two have looked the same. Here are three of my favourites.

Whether you're picturing something playful, a big celebration bringing family together from across the world, or an intimate ceremony with the people who matter most, Brown Brothers Winery has the flexibility to make it happen.

I'm Cheryl Warry, a full-time marriage celebrant based in Wangaratta, and I'd love to help you plan your own ceremony here.

Dog ring bearer at Brown Bros winery wedding Mlawa

Gabby and Nic's wedding gave me one of the funniest, most heartwarming moments I've had at a ceremony. Their dog took on ring bearer duties, making his entrance at exactly the right moment - timed, of course, to "Who Let the Dogs Out."

All the guests were caught up in the fun of the moment and appreciated why their fur baby played such an important part in their ceremony.

120 guests crowd selfie at Brown Brothers Winery wedding

With 120 guests, many of whom travelled from overseas and interstate, Casey and Nigel's wedding was a genuine celebration of distance closing in for one big day. Fittingly, since the two of them first met at a winery, a winery wedding was always going to be the only option. One of my favourite moments from the day was the crowd selfie - a sea of happy faces all crammed into one shot, capturing exactly how many people had come from exactly how far to be there. Donna and Jarrod's wedding ceremony at Brown Brothers Winery, Milawa

Donna and Jarrod met at the gym, and their Brown Brothers wedding brought together 100 guests for a day that was every bit as warm as their story. One of my favourite memories from planning their day wasn't even at the venue - it was at my home, where we sat down to complete their legal paperwork while their daughters happily spent the whole visit feeding my horses. It's exactly the kind of moment that reminds me why I love this job; the ceremony is the finale, but the lead-up is full of its own special memories too.
