There are some wedding venues that never lose their appeal, no matter how many times you visit. All Saints Estate in Rutherglen is one of those places.

With its sweeping vineyards, centuries-old elm trees, magnificent castle-inspired architecture and beautifully manicured grounds, All Saints Estate offers couples a wedding setting that is both elegant and effortlessly relaxed. It's one of the most iconic winery wedding venues in North East Victoria, and every ceremony held here feels just a little bit magical.

I recently had the pleasure of marrying Sarah-Jane and Matt at this stunning venue, and from the moment guests began to arrive, there was a wonderful sense of excitement in the air. It was a day filled with genuine emotion, plenty of laughter and the kind of relaxed atmosphere that makes a wedding unforgettable.

A Ceremony That Reflected Their Story

As everyone gathered beneath the magnificent trees, surrounded by vineyards stretching into the distance, there was a nervous glance towards the sky every now and then. Rain had been threatening all afternoon, and for a while it looked as though we might have to move the ceremony indoors. Fortunately, the weather was on our side just long enough. Sarah-Jane and Matt were able to exchange their vows exactly where they had hoped, with the rain politely holding off until the ceremony had finished. It was one of those moments that reminds you not to give up on Plan A too quickly.

The Perfect Backdrop for a Winery Wedding

One of the reasons I enjoy officiating weddings at All Saints Estate is the incredible variety the venue offers throughout the day.

From the beautiful ceremony spaces amongst the gardens to the historic buildings and endless vineyard views, every corner of the estate provides another stunning backdrop for photographs.

As the afternoon unfolded, guests wandered through the gardens, enjoying a glass of local wine while Sarah-Jane and Matt slipped away with their photographer to capture those special newly married moments.

It's easy to understand why All Saints Estate continues to be one of Victoria's most sought-after winery wedding venues.

Beautiful Details That Completed the Day

Every wedding is made up of countless thoughtful details, and Sarah-Jane and Matt surrounded themselves with an incredible team of local professionals who helped bring their vision to life.

The stunning floral arrangements created by Flowers by Lindy complemented the estate perfectly. Soft, elegant blooms enhanced the natural beauty of the venue without taking attention away from the spectacular surroundings.

Throughout the ceremony and into the celebrations, the music performed by Lennon Paul created the perfect atmosphere. Live music has a wonderful way of bringing emotion into a ceremony, and every song added another layer to an already unforgettable day.

When talented local suppliers work together, couples are free to relax and simply enjoy every moment.

Why I Love Celebrating Weddings at All Saints Estate

As a local marriage celebrant based in North East Victoria, I've had the privilege of officiating ceremonies at many beautiful venues throughout the region, but All Saints Estate continues to be one of my favourites.

The venue offers everything couples could hope for in a winery wedding.

  • Stunning gardens and mature trees for outdoor ceremonies.
  • Beautiful vineyard views in every season.
  • Historic architecture that adds timeless character.
  • Exceptional food and award-winning wines.
  • A seamless transition from ceremony to reception, allowing everyone to relax and enjoy the celebration.

Equally important is the experienced team behind the scenes, who work closely with celebrants, photographers, musicians and other suppliers to ensure every wedding day unfolds effortlessly.

Creating Memories That Last a Lifetime

Looking back on Sarah-Jane and Matt's wedding, what stands out most isn't just the beautiful venue or the spectacular scenery.

It's the way they looked at each other throughout the ceremony.

The smiles they couldn't hide.

The laughter they shared with their family and friends.

The overwhelming sense that everyone present knew they were witnessing something truly special.

Those are the moments that become lifelong memories, and it's an honour to stand alongside couples as they begin that next chapter together.

Planning Your All Saints Estate Wedding?

If you're dreaming of a winery wedding in Rutherglen or anywhere across North East Victoria, All Saints Estate is a venue that offers elegance, character and unforgettable scenery in every season.

As an experienced local marriage celebrant, I know how important it is for your ceremony to feel relaxed, personal and genuinely reflective of your relationship. Every ceremony I create is written from scratch because no two couples have the same story to tell.

Whether you're planning an intimate gathering beneath the trees or a larger celebration surrounded by vineyards, I'd love to help create a ceremony that your guests will remember just as fondly as you will.

Cheryl's Venue Tip | All Saints Estate

Outdoor ceremonies at All Saints Estate are simply breathtaking, but like any winery wedding, Mother Nature likes to keep us guessing. On Sarah-Jane and Matt's wedding day, the weather had us watching the skies and wondering whether we might need to move indoors. Thankfully, patience paid off, and we were able to celebrate exactly where they had imagined before the rain arrived. My advice is not to panic if the forecast isn't perfect. Trust your venue team, your vendors and have a little flexibility. Some of the most memorable wedding days are the ones where everyone calmly adapts, and often the weather gives you exactly the window you need.
